Eric Jan Kremer

Welcome to EricJanKremer.com

Eric Jan Kremer, born on February 17th in Haarlem, The Netherlands is known for his Formula 1 and MotoGP art. His fascination for racing started when he was very young. He made simple drawings of cars when he was only ten, but he developed and became better very quick. Stealing the hearts of Formula 1 and MotoGP fans because of his passionate work was an easy task for him.

He creates the illusion of speed and power. His goal is to make a piece of art that excites you, to create the feeling you’re watching a Formula 1 or MotoGP race. He uses acrylic paint for his work and he always paints on linen.

Multiple big names got his work on the wall. His work founds it way to Rinus Veekay, Jaques Villeneuve, Valentino Rossi, Michael Schumacher, Arie Luyendijk, Mika Häkkinen and Max Verstappen.

You can find his work all over the world, for example in the VIP-areas at Silverstone.

What is a Glicee

Giclées are reproductions of very good quality that are difficult to distinguish from original paintings with the naked eye. A giclée is printed one by one on high quality fine art paper in the traditional manner and is critically inspected for quality by the artist.  If the artist agrees, each copy is signed by him and given a unique number.
The Paint Splash technique makes the giclée unique!

What is an Art Canvas

Art Canvas has been a popular way to print paintings for many years.   This used material (350gr/m2.) is one of a kind. No other manufacturer has an identical product. Innova has succeeded in bringing a micro-porous, gloss coating to a textile base that matches perfectly with the acrylic paints used by Eric Jan.  Each canvas print is stretched by hand on a wooden frame and fitted with a black frame. After Eric Jan has given his approval, it is signed by him and painted with his characteristic technique. Each canvas painting is unique and has unique characteristics in a limited edition.

Cooperation To The Max

Eric Jan Kremer's work finds its way to several Top Drivers.  With the arrival of Max Verstappen, Rinus Veekay we live in a unique time in Dutch history and I want to record that for posterity. As there used to be portraiture in the Middle Ages, I see this as modern portraiture. I want to capture the dynamics of motorsport in all its facets
